Hurry up and bring out the next one! This book was full of suspense and action and I just powered through it. When it was finished it was one of those novels that I did not want to end, I was living in the book and experiencing all the emotions! Please bring out book 2 soon, I feel like my life is missing something.

What I loved about this book is the perfect balance of high-stakes intensity and the camaraderie of the CRONUS team. Their humor, their brotherhood, and their unwavering loyalty make them more.
"Loved the team and their dynamics"
I couldn’t put it down and it only got harder as I got further into the story and it picked up speed. This book cost me sleep! There was humour, twists and turns.... I loved the team and their dynamics. Lachlan and Bruce were my favourites. For the importance and seriousness of their jobs, they often came across as big kids. Lots of banter. I also loved how the female lead character wasn’t just waiting for others to come to her rescue.
This novel covered some heavy topics but I found it wasn’t overwhelming. The author didn’t make light of these situations but showed instead the strength and resilience of the characters. I really liked how past traumas were portrayed as being a journey and not a quick fix, where with therapy they were moving on but bad memories or moments would still revisit every now and then.
