I am finally home after weeks of travelling. It’s so great to sleep in my own bed. As you know, my first book: Thirty Days has November… is the first book in the CRONUS: Team Zeus series. And the one question I keep being asked is: when is Book Two of CRONUS: Team Zeus being released?
Good question! I cannot wait to get Book Two into your hands. It is currently going through the editing process. We are aiming for a Summer 2026 release (US summer), and as soon as I have a confirmed date, I’ll let you all know.
Now the qualifier!
Book Two does not follow on from Book One, which was set in October/November 2017. Book Two’s timeline starts before Book One, at the end of May 2017 and focuses on the disastrous mission they were all recovering from in 30 Days Has November…
It’s violent and confronting – please read the trigger warnings when the book is released. Even I didn’t see where this one was going. That’s what happens when you’re a Pantser. I just can’t settle into the Plotters mindset…
While some of the content is no less than horrific, I tried to give the subject the seriousness it deserved while still showcasing the team’s dynamic and humor. What occurs on these pages wouldn’t be overcome quickly, but this is still a fictional story. I’ve tried to respect the topic, but have the team deal with things in their way and continue on. Due to the content, this book is longer than Book One, but we also get to see a bit more of Team Poseidon and Team Hades. These are the other two teams within CRONUS, and I’m excited to show you more about them.
Book Three is in the pipeline…
As Book Two continues through the editing process, I’m also currently writing Book Three, which actually does follow on chronologically from Book One. Still a long way to go, but needless to say, true to form, Lachlan is not following doctor’s orders!
